The Pharaoh Hound can live in an apartment as long as she can get frequent runs on the leash through jogging, bike riding or other forms of running. She is a very fast runner and needs to stretch her legs occasionally. Her short coat means that she does better in warmer climates. She is a chaser so beware of other pets. She should not be trusted off the leash as she will take off after a scent or moving object and may be hard to catch.
